Retail Security Officer

As a Retail Security Officer, you’ll be the face of safety on-site—helping protect customers, staff, and assets in busy retail environments. Your visible presence and quick response will help prevent incidents, reduce risk, and create a safe and welcoming space for everyone.

This is a fast-paced, customer-facing role where no two shifts are the same. You’ll be working across retail sites providing a strong security presence, monitoring activity, and responding to incidents as they arise. You’ll combine strong situational awareness with great customer service—supporting both safety and a positive in-store experience.

Primary duties include conducting routine patrols and security checks, maintaining a visible security presence to deter theft and anti-social behaviour. Monitor CCTV and on-site activity, identifying and responding to risks. Respond to incidents and de-escalate conflicts professionally and safely while providing excellent customer service.
