The Nightlife Report Writer protects company assets and provides a safe environment for team members and guests at Las Vegas properties. Responsibilities include interviewing, summarizing, and writing comprehensive security reports to memorialize incidents. Duties support department success, maintain records for auditing, and ensure excellent guest and team member experiences.

Effectively document all incidents into complete and accurate security reports, covering missing property, injuries, damages, criminal acts, misconduct, and suspicious events. Identify and use relevant forms for preliminary investigations, such as voluntary statements, injury reports, and property loss forms. Gather pertinent information to determine when reports are necessary based on liability, safety, or criminal factors.

Utilize iTrak for adding participants, transferring files, supplemental reports, proofreading, and emailing. Conduct inquiries in Opera for guest folios and use HotSOS to initiate work orders with specific details. Correctly identify affected persons and witnesses, collecting contact information and advising on lost property procedures.

Perform minor investigations including safety violations, video requests from surveillance, engineering work orders, and lock reports. Notify hotel management and safety department on relevant incidents. Maximize departmental opportunities while upholding all company standards.
