About this role

Patrol all areas of the property, secure rooms, and assist guests with room access. Conduct emergency response drills, daily physical hazard/safety inspections, investigations, and key control audit. Monitor Closed Circuit Televisions and alarm systems, authorizing and documenting access to secured areas. Assist guests and employees during emergency situations.

Respond to accidents, contact EMS or administer first aid/CPR as required. Gather information and complete reports, maintaining confidentiality. Defuse disturbances and resolve safety hazard situations in accordance with company policies. Handle all interruptions and complaints, and escort unwelcome persons from the property.

Assist management in training, motivating, and coaching employees; serve as a role model and first point of contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process. Follow all company policies and procedures, report accidents and unsafe work conditions, and complete safety training and certifications. Welcome and acknowledge all guests, anticipate and address service needs, and thank guests with genuine appreciation.

Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support team to reach common goals. Listen and respond appropriately to concerns of other employees. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards. Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of related work experience.
  • At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • Ability to administer first aid and CPR as required.
  • Ability to read and visually verify information in a variety of formats.
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period and move, lift, carry, push, pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Proficiency in using computers and point of sale systems.
  • Ability to move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces and over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces.
