Daily duties center on armed patrols, access control, CCTV and alarm monitoring, and incident reporting. Officers also provide customer service by greeting visitors, answering questions, and assisting employees as needed throughout the facility.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 21 years of age
  • Current driver’s license if operating a company or customer vehicle
  • Basic Life Support CPR/AED and First Aid certification from AHA or ARC
  • Federal and state firearms qualifications
  • National Weapons Detection Training Program (NWDTP) certification
  • OC, Baton, handcuffing, defensive tactics, and de-escalation certification
  • Minimum two years armed security experience, two years US military service, or one year full-time armed civilian law enforcement experience

Responsibilities

  • Provide armed protective services in accordance with Allied Universal standards for a high profile customer
  • Conduct armed patrols of the facility on foot or in a vehicle
  • Perform access control, CCTV monitoring, and alarm response
  • Report safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances verbally and in writing
  • Handle security issues and emergency situations according to established protocol
  • Greet and welcome visitors and employees while answering questions and providing assistance
  • Follow all site-specific directives, manuals, and post orders
