About this role

Partner with the Supply Chain leadership team to provide a visible and proactive physical security and safety presence throughout the assigned supply chain location, ensuring a safe environment for Lowe's. This role supervises SC Security Officer expectations including training, attendance, scheduling, and performance management.

Conduct regular patrols of interior and exterior premises on foot and by company vehicle to identify potential security concerns. De-escalate situations involving associates, visitors, and contractors using professional techniques, and respond promptly to incidents, accidents, and emergencies such as medical situations or fire alarms.

Collaborate with Supply Chain leadership and associates to enforce policies and procedures, and report suspicious behavior, safety hazards, or security breaches to appropriate leadership. Utilize CCTV to monitor physical security and detect unauthorized activities, and maintain relationships with local law enforcement.

Maintain all required certifications and licenses as required by Lowe's, including state guard licensing for the security team. Participate in court hearings if applicable and update case files while attending monthly Safety Team meetings to stay informed about updates and procedural changes.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
5-7 years of retail, security, first-responder, or military experience (or related field)
1-2 years of big-box retail, security, or military experience
1-2 years of experience with detailed incident report-writing
1-2 years of experience conducting quality reviews/audits
Valid driver's license
Security license

Responsibilities

Utilize case management system to complete detailed incident reports and CCTV to monitor physical security.
