Amalgamated Bank seeks a Corporate Security Manager responsible for the oversight and administrative management of Physical Security for branches and offices, including related persons and property. This role ensures adherence to security policies and procedures across all locations. It involves managing systems and personnel to safeguard assets effectively.

Daily tasks include programming network access control systems and ID cards for HQ, branches, and DC offices. Implement changes for access updates like terminations and extensions. Manage bank-wide CCTV surveillance and serve as point of contact for law enforcement requests.

Collaborate with HR on fingerprint screening, onboarding, background checks, and employee exits. Oversee vendor relationships for equipment maintenance and manage guard coverage for locations. Support business units with secure area access reports and act as emergency alarm contact.

Maintain detailed Physical Security reports on incidents, service calls, and device testing. Perform HQ walk-throughs to address deficiencies and provide specialized training. The role supports events like board meetings while tracking geographic threats within the bank footprint.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 7+ years of relevant experience
  • Professionalism, resourceful and creative approach to crucial elements of Physical Security
  • Experience building and maintaining effective relationships with customers and internal partners
  • Highly functional knowledge of computer-based business programs and security systems
  • Sound decision making skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent business communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Oversee adherence and management of Physical Security policy and procedures
  • Manage and program network access control systems and associated ID cards for HQ, branches, and DC offices
  • Implement daily access changes such as terminations, extensions, and expirations
  • Conduct fingerprint screening and assist HR with onboarding new hires and contractors
  • Oversee background screening results and expand research if necessary
  • Manage bank-wide CCTV surveillance systems and serve as point of contact for law enforcement
  • Maintain Physical Security reports on service calls, incidents, equipment maintenance, and device testing
  • Manage vendor relationships and coordinate maintenance, repair, and installation of security equipment

Benefits
