About this role

The Security Control Room Officer (SCRO) is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the security services of Monash University Malaysia through the effective operation of security systems and equipment. This role requires excellent attention to detail, strong situational awareness, and the ability to respond promptly and appropriately to security incidents or emergencies.

Day-to-day, the SCRO works under the supervision of the Senior Security Officer (SSO) and reports to the Assistant Manager Security Operations. You will be surrounded by extraordinary ideas at a world top 50 University environment that values difference and diversity.

Requirements

Excellent attention to detail
Strong situational awareness
Ability to respond promptly and appropriately to security incidents or emergencies
Experience operating security systems and equipment
Ability to work under supervision and follow reporting lines

Monitor and maintain the security services of Monash University Malaysia through the effective operation of security systems and equipment
Maintain excellent attention to detail and strong situational awareness while monitoring security operations
Respond promptly and appropriately to security incidents or emergencies
Work under the supervision of the Senior Security Officer (SSO)
Report to the Assistant Manager Security Operations
Operate and manage security control room systems effectively
