About this role

Acts Retirement-Life Communities seeks a Security Supervisor to plan and direct the community's 24-hour security operation. This role provides departmental leadership to ensure security and safety through supervision, staffing, and monitoring all functions. Support residents and team members during evening and night hours.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of five years' security, law enforcement, or emergency services experience
Must be eligible to obtain a Security Guard Certification, if employed in the state of Maryland (or obtain within the 3-month introductory period)
CPR, AED, & first aid certification (or obtain within the 3-month introductory period)
Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

Plan and direct the community's 24-hour security operation
Provide departmental leadership to ensure security and safety
Supervise security staff and maintain appropriate staffing levels
Monitor all security functions carefully
Support residents and team members during evening and night hours
Coordinate emergency responses and incident management
Oversee access control and perimeter security in senior living community
