About this role

This role is responsible for protecting site employees and property by utilizing Plexus-provided security systems and fostering a 'One Plexus' relationship with all employees. The Security Officer serves as the primary point of contact for access control, CCTV monitoring, and visitor management.

Day-to-day duties include monitoring access control and CCTV systems, touring assigned areas, and documenting any suspicious activity to ensure site safety. The role also involves providing excellent first-contact customer service to visitors, vendors, and employees using a 'How can I help' relationship-building approach.

This position operates within a security-focused environment where collaboration and vigilance are key to maintaining a secure site. The Security Officer acts as a First Aider and assists with emergency paperwork, coordination, communication, and follow-through during incidents.

Requirements

Typically requires a High School Certificate or equivalent related experience.

Willingness to serve as a First Aider and handle emergency response duties.
Basic understanding of security protocols and site safety procedures.
