About this role

As a Security Control Room Officer at e-shelter security, you will take responsibility for receiving, recording, forwarding, and tracking hazard, emergency, and alarm reports in a critical data center environment. This challenging role ensures the safety and security of a high-stakes facility.

Your daily tasks involve processing alarms according to established response plans and swiftly handling fault and damage reports. You will initiate situation-appropriate measures and coordinate field deployments directly from the control room, ensuring rapid and effective incident response.

You will work within a professional security team focused on reliability and precision, using your technical understanding and PC skills to manage monitoring systems. The environment demands constant vigilance and the ability to make quick, informed decisions under pressure.

Requirements

  • At minimum, possess the Sachkundeprüfung (expert knowledge exam for security personnel)
  • Undergo and pass the Ü2 security background check
  • Teamwork, reliability, and conscientiousness
  • Ideally possess technical understanding
  • Excellent German language skills and good English language skills
  • Good PC skills including MS Office
  • High willingness to learn and perform

Responsibilities

  • Receive, record, forward, and track hazard, emergency, and alarm reports
  • Process alarms according to established response plans
  • Handle fault and damage reports with rapid processing
  • Initiate situation-appropriate measures from the control room
  • Coordinate field deployments and emergency responses
  • Monitor security systems and data center access controls
  • Document all incidents and maintain accurate logs
