About this role

This role manages the health, safety, and physical security of all attendees at Bank of America–sponsored or hosted events worldwide. The Major Events Security Manager develops and implements comprehensive security plans and protocols to ensure a safe and secure business environment that reflects the company’s values.

Day-to-day responsibilities include traveling in advance of events to conduct detailed security surveys of all identified locations, establishing key contacts, and coordinating arrangements to ensure guest safety. The role requires continuous analysis and identification of potential threats through extensive monitoring across multiple intelligence and information platforms.

This position maintains close working relationships across all lines of business supporting Major Events, including Intelligence, Executive Protection, and Protective Services. The role requires the ability to quickly prioritize and adapt in a fast-paced environment, identifying and responding to security situations on a 24/7 basis during events.

Requirements

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to quickly prioritize and adapt to changing security situations
  • Experience developing and implementing security plans and protocols for large-scale events
  • Proven ability to conduct threat analysis across multiple intelligence platforms
  • Strong collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams including law enforcement and venue partners
  • Willingness to travel in advance of events for security surveys and coordination
  • Ability to maintain a 24/7 response posture during event periods

Responsibilities

  • Monitor multiple intelligence and information platforms to identify and analyze potential threats
  • Manage multiple projects and security assessments simultaneously
  • Maintain close working relationships with Intelligence, Executive Protection, and Protective Services teams
  • Coordinate with event planners, local law enforcement, and venue partners to ensure security readiness
  • Respond to security situations on a 24/7 basis during events
