This Executive Protection (EP) Professional role serves within the One RTX EP team, collaborating closely with senior executive leadership on security and personal protection matters.
Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating schedules and itineraries with the principal’s executive assistant, driving primary and secondary routes in advance for local venues, and supporting flights in and out of Reagan International Airport as a TSA-Armed Security Officer. Domestic and international travel is required.
The role liaises with management, industry representatives, customers, and law enforcement on executive protection, events, and operations. It also develops comprehensive physical security plans and conducts risk and vulnerability assessments to safeguard senior leadership.

Requirements
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience, or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in security operations, or like experience in the armed forces or with local law enforcement at the federal, state, and/or local government level.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Active and existing DoD security clearance required after day 1.
- Possess, or be able to obtain, Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act (LEOSA) certification.
- Possess, or be able to obtain, TSA Armed Security Officer (ASO) certification.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate schedules and itineraries for travel planning with the principal’s executive assistant daily.
- Drive primary and secondary routes in advance for all local venues.
- Support flights in and out of Reagan International Airport as a TSA-Armed Security Officer.
- Liaise with management, industry representatives, customers, and law enforcement on matters pertaining to executive protection, events, operations, and objectives.
- Develop comprehensive physical security plans and employ risk and vulnerability assessment methodologies to safeguard senior executive leadership.
- Maintain company executive transport vehicles, including inspections, tracking accidents, delivery to dealerships for repairs, replacements, and weekly washing and cleaning.
- Provide security at company-sponsored events and supplement other members of the Physical Security organization as directed.
