This role safeguards people, technology, and information at events from confidential internal meetings to major international defense trade shows.

The position creates a secure environment around company activities in dynamic and often high-threat settings. It ensures physical and informational integrity of assets regardless of event attendance. The manager delivers strategic planning alongside hands-on operational leadership for every event.

The Security Operations Team integrates security infrastructure, guard force operations, and crisis management. It delivers proactive risk management, crisis preparedness, threat intelligence, investigations, executive protection, and 24/7 global monitoring. The team fosters a resilient security culture that supports confident operations worldwide.

The role requires close coordination with Counterintelligence, Threat Intelligence, Events, Executive Protection, and regional Physical Security teams. After-action reviews and post-event reports drive continuous improvement. Travel of 30%-60% supports events across domestic and international locations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience developing event security strategies and emergency response plans
  • Experience conducting threat, vulnerability, and risk assessments for events
  • Experience managing third-party security vendors and contracts
  • Knowledge of ITAR, EAR, and government regulatory compliance
  • Experience leading on-site security operations including access control and credentialing
  • Ability to travel 30%-60% domestically and internationally

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive event security strategy with detailed threat, vulnerability, and risk assessments.
  • Collaborate with Counterintelligence and Threat Intelligence teams to identify specific risks to event personnel, assets, and information.
  • Serve as the primary security liaison to the Events Team and coordinate with Executive Protection and regional Physical Security teams.
  • Lead all on-site security operations, design access control and credentialing, and ensure secure handling of sensitive equipment.
  • Source, vet, and manage contracts with third-party security vendors while ensuring compliance with ITAR, EAR, and government regulations.
  • Conduct after-action reviews and create detailed post-event reports to identify lessons learned and drive continuous improvement.
