About this role

This role manages the health, safety, and physical security of all attendees at Bank of America–sponsored or hosted events worldwide. The Major Events Security Manager develops and implements comprehensive security plans and protocols to ensure a safe and secure business environment reflecting the company's values.

Day-to-day responsibilities include traveling in advance of events to conduct detailed security surveys of all identified locations, establishing key contacts, and coordinating arrangements to ensure guest safety. The role requires continuous monitoring across multiple intelligence and information platforms to analyze and identify potential threats on a 24/7 basis during events.

This position maintains close working relationships across all lines of business supporting Major Events, including Intelligence, Executive Protection, and Protective Services. The role requires the ability to quickly prioritize and adapt in a fast-paced environment while coordinating closely with event planners, local law enforcement, and venue partners.

Requirements

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with ability to multitask
  • Experience developing and implementing security plans for large-scale events
  • Ability to analyze and identify potential threats through extensive monitoring across intelligence and information platforms
  • Capacity to quickly prioritize and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong working relationships with cross-functional teams including Intelligence, Executive Protection, and Protective Services
  • Willingness to travel extensively in advance of events for security surveys and coordination

Responsibilities

  • Oversee executive protection teams and activities within a specific geographic region
  • Develop and implement comprehensive security plans and protocols for all Bank of America–sponsored or hosted events
  • Direct activities to ensure safety and security of the senior management team and bank events
  • Travel in advance of events to conduct detailed security surveys of all identified locations
  • Deliver threat analysis across various platforms with cross-functional teams
  • Manage multiple projects and security assessments simultaneously
  • Coordinate closely with event planners, local law enforcement, and venue partners
  • Identify and respond to security situations on a 24/7 basis during events
