About this role
As a Security Manager, Senior, you will provide analytical, advisory, and technical expertise for the Air Force. You will plan, organize, and implement all security activities to support current and future initiatives, ensuring Special Access Programs and related security functions comply with all legal and regulatory requirements.
You will develop and implement goals and objectives that integrate organization and security program objectives. You will research, interpret, and ensure compliance with federal, DoD, Air Force, command, and local guidelines, policies, and regulations, while analyzing policies and procedures for proper security administration.
You will provide technical and functional support to the Air Force client across information, industrial, physical, and personnel security programs. You will work with government security personnel and operate with appreciable latitude in developing and presenting solutions to security matters.
This role requires a TS/SCI clearance and the ability to clearly communicate security topics to senior leaders. You will handle multiple complex security assignments and be on-call after hours, offering a challenging environment with significant responsibility.
Requirements
- Experience working with government security personnel.
- Knowledge of personnel and physical security.
- Knowledge of DoD SAP manuals and ICD 705.
- Knowledge of military organizations and culture.
- Ability to work on multiple complex security assignments and clearly communicate security topics to senior leaders.
- Ability to be on-call after hours for security issues.
- TS/SCI clearance.
- HS diploma or GED.
Responsibilities
