As Lead Security Officer at River City Casino & Hotel, provide continuous patrols by foot and vehicle across casino, hotel, and surrounding areas. Escort funds for table fills, slots, and banks while ensuring security in sensitive zones. Respond to disturbances, alarms, and medical situations promptly.

Deliver superior guest experiences through positive interactions and handle difficult customers resiliently. Operate Security Dispatch, maintain logs, and prepare detailed incident reports. Adhere to all departmental policies and guest service standards.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in a guest service-related field required
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Driver’s License and operate company vehicles preferred
  • Required to obtain CPR Certificate and Bloodborne Pathogen training
  • Ability to check identification of persons appearing under 21 years of age
  • Adhere to all departmental and company policies and procedures

Responsibilities

  • Provide continuous patrol by foot and vehicle of the casino, hotel, and surrounding areas to address suspicious activity
  • Escort and transport funds for table fills, slots, banks, and kiosks; provide security for non-gaming team members in sensitive areas
  • Respond to all disturbances and alarms to ensure a safe, secure environment for guests and team members
  • Address medical situations on property and notify proper emergency contacts if necessary
  • Operate Security Dispatch including dispatching officers, maintaining key control, and all required logs
  • Provide superior guest experience through consistent positive interactions and handle difficult customers
  • Prepare detailed reports on security-related incidents and assist leadership
  • Perform functions of Fire Safety Officer including monitoring surveillance, alarms, and intercom systems
