- Effective communicator across senior and executive leadership, able to communicate security risk posture, program updates, and incident summaries.
- Experience working in or alongside energy or industrial operations.
- Leadership capability to build and evolve programs in a growth-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Own and continuously evolve a risk-based enterprise physical security program across all WES assets, ensuring alignment with applicable federal and state regulations.
- Develop, enforce, and periodically review security standards, policies, and procedures.
- Identify emerging threats and vulnerabilities relevant to midstream operations and translate findings into actionable risk mitigation strategies.
- Lead, develop, and manage a team of security professionals, including hiring, coaching and development, and workforce planning.
- Oversee physical protection programs for remote and staffed midstream operations, including access control, surveillance, and perimeter security.
- Conduct and manage facility security assessments and vulnerability analyses consistent with industry and internal standards.
- Ensure effective response, investigation, and reporting of security incidents across the enterprise.
- Provide a risk-based protective services program for company events and senior employees.
Benefits
- Opportunity to lead a team of security professionals in a critical function.
