About this role

Paragon Professional Services, a subsidiary of Bering Straits Native Corporation, seeks OCONUS Bodyguards for a government contract. Ideal candidates will be assigned to the Moscow Embassy to provide close protection operations. This role requires constant mental alertness and professional execution of duties.

Bodyguards provide protection to the Chief of Mission (COM) and drive armored and unarmored vehicles as required by the close protection plan. They maintain all logbooks and administrative files per policy and the Regional Security Officer (RSO). Bodyguards also man static guard posts as directed by the RSO.

Work involves conducting advances of COM movements and preparing written reports including security survey reports. The environment includes an office setting with computer screens, extensive keyboard and mouse use, and multi-line telephone systems. Employees must maintain physical condition for bending, stooping, sitting, walking, or standing for prolonged periods.

This position supports embassy security operations in a high-stakes international setting. Duties emphasize precise adherence to protocols and RSO guidance. The role offers exposure to close protection in a diplomatic context.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least three (3) years applicable experience with a minimum of one (1) year in close protection assignments
  • Valid US driver's license with a clean driving record in the past 3 years
  • Able to use a computer including all common office management tools (e.g. Microsoft Office)
  • Experienced in communications and radio use and procedures
  • Level S3/R3 proficiency in Russian for Bodyguard/Translators
  • Prepare written reports and logs to include security survey reports
