Your day-to-day duties include supervising security personnel, conducting patrols, and investigating suspicious events or persons. You will maintain a neat appearance and interact with students, staff, and visitors with courtesy while upholding firm principles.

You will work within a dedicated facilities management team that provides training, uniforms, equipment, and personal protective gear. The role requires familiarity with fire safety equipment and procedures, supported by relevant training courses.

Requirements

  • Valid Security Personnel Permit (Type B) issued under the Security and Guarding Services Ordinance
  • Good physical, physiological, and psychological health
  • Neat appearance and polite yet firm demeanor with students, staff, and visitors
  • At least 1 year of relevant security experience; school or commercial building experience preferred
  • Good Cantonese and basic English, with ability to read and write Chinese
  • Form 3 (Secondary 3) or above education
  • Knowledge of fire equipment usage and completion of related training
  • Valid first aid certificate from St. John Ambulance, Auxiliary Medical Service, or Hong Kong Red Cross (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate security personnel on-site
  • Conduct patrols and inspections of the premises
  • Investigate suspicious events or persons
  • Maintain order and enforce security protocols with students, staff, and visitors
  • Operate and manage fire safety equipment as needed
  • Respond promptly to incidents and report findings
  • Ensure compliance with the Security and Guarding Services Ordinance (Chapter 460)
