Intuit Dome seeks an experienced Building Security Manager adept at developing, growing, and leading the Building Security team. This role involves planning and implementing access control programs for 24/7 Security operations. The position manages the overall Security Department, incorporating new technology for a seamless, safer experience for fans and team members.

The ideal candidate possesses a detailed understanding of sports and entertainment venue safety programs. Daily responsibilities include managing coordinators, supervisors, leads, and officers while overseeing critical systems like CCTV and access control. Shift briefings and Command Center monitoring ensure high standards for safety and security.

Work in a dynamic environment supporting high-profile concerts and NBA games at Intuit Dome and Kia Forum. Collaborate with the Director of Security Technology on recruitment, training, and credentialing. Establish relationships with local, state, and federal security organizations for coordination and compliance.

Lead the execution of security strategies for perimeters, parking, access points, and loading docks. Maintain Emergency Operating Plans with reviews and exercises. This full-time role offers flexible scheduling and competitive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

Requirements

  • Detailed understanding of sports and entertainment venue safety programs
  • Five or more years of supervisory or management experience in building security or event-based workforce
  • Adept at developing, growing, and leading Building Security teams
  • Experience planning and implementing access control programs for 24/7 operations
  • Knowledge of incorporating new technology into security operations
  • Proficiency in managing security budgets, scheduling, and staffing
  • Ability to oversee CCTV, access control, and incident management systems

Responsibilities

  • Manage Building Security Coordinator to plan, develop, and implement programs supporting strategic goals and highest industry standards
  • Assist Director of Security Technology in recruitment, onboarding, training, development, and scheduling of 24/7 Building Security operations
  • Manage budget, scheduling, and staffing deployment for full-time and part-time Building Security Supervisors, Leads, and Officers
  • Develop and deliver security policies, procedures, post orders, and training materials including state licensing requirements
  • Oversee operations of CCTV, access control, incident management systems, radio communications, and select systems in Command Center and Loading Dock
  • Assist in managing global Halo Sports & Entertainment credentialing system for customized access rights
  • Provide effective communication during emergency response and maintain facility Emergency Operating Plans with reviews and exercises
  • Serve on an on-call basis 24/7
