Requirements

Ability to learn, retain and perform basic healthcare security functions
Ability to identify, educate, manage, and report security risks impacting service delivery
Ability to listen, share, modify information and effectively communicate amongst different stakeholder groups

Ability to motivate, inspire, and influence others

Responsibilities

Observe and remain vigilant for signs of crime, disorder, hazard, and unusual activity
Patrol on foot, bicycle, or via vehicle to check for unsafe conditions, blocked entryways, security violations, mechanical problems, and unauthorized individuals
Verbally and physically de-escalate individuals as needed
Protect staff and property from theft, damage, hazards or interference including potential violence
Identify, manage and report security risks impacting service delivery
Demonstrate professional behavior responsive to client needs across varying departments
