Security Officer - Night Shift

The Security Officer maintains the safety and security of Smith Entertainment Group properties, including buildings, employees, guests, and assets during overnight hours. This role ensures a safe environment through proactive patrols, observation, and enforcement of security policies. The position reports directly to the Security Manager.

Core duties include conducting foot patrols, fulfilling standing posts, and providing visual deterrence through high visibility at all times. Officers perform detailed observations of people and property while enforcing venue rules and regulations. Access control is provided to authorized persons to prevent theft of property.

Officers must operate company vehicles for exterior patrols and interact verbally with individuals in their area of responsibility. When situations exceed training or knowledge, supervisors are contacted immediately. Law enforcement or emergency responders are engaged when appropriate, always prioritizing safety for employees, players, and guests.

The role requires exemplifying Delta Center mission and values: transparent, all in, community obsessed, one team, and scrappy. Officers protect company reputation while delivering detailed written incident reports. All duties align with post orders and company policies.
