About this role

This role combines high-level hospitality awareness with professional protective services to maintain a safe, secure, and discreet environment for all Nemacolin guests, associates, and property assets. The ideal candidate demonstrates exceptional judgment, professionalism, and the ability to respond effectively to security situations while preserving the luxury guest experience.

Day-to-day responsibilities include responding to and acting immediately on emergency incidents resort wide, conducting company-related investigations and surveillance, and monitoring assigned areas and principals. Officers patrol the building at all times, providing a high-profile security presence and protective service to VIPs, ownership, and the resort executive team.

Requirements

  • PA Act 235 certification required.
  • Prior military or law enforcement background required.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Complete and pass a hospitality security officer certification program within 60 days (provided by Nemacolin Resort).
  • Pass a physical fitness evaluation prior to starting employment (standards available upon request).
  • Able to work various shifts, including flex shift/float position.
  • Possess excellent leadership skills and be able to make sound decisions.
  • Maintain a current, valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to and act immediately on emergency incidents that occur resort wide.
  • Provide protective service to VIPs, ownership, resort executive team, as well as all guests and associates on property.
  • Maintain a safe, secure, and discreet environment to protect Nemacolin guests, associates, and property assets.
  • Conduct company-related investigations and surveillance.
  • Advise on course of action for all areas of concern.
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge regarding current security laws and policies.
  • Monitor assigned areas and principals.
  • Patrol the building at all times and provide high-profile security presence.
