Executive Protection Officers support elevated broadcast efforts while interacting with senior FWC executives, VIPs, on-air talent, and elected officials. The role requires experience supporting high-profile individuals and serving as a driver for FWC vehicles upon request. Candidates must manage complex workflows in a high-profile, fast-paced international environment.
Officers provide close protection for designated executives and high-profile personnel assigned to or visiting the arena. They maintain constant situational awareness, proactively identify threats, and conduct secure movements including arrivals, departures, and escorts. Advance site assessments identify access points, emergency exits, and safe zones.
The position operates in a global event environment with media personnel and international stakeholders. Officers enforce access control, verify credentials, monitor restricted areas, and assist with screening procedures. They act as first responders to security incidents and execute emergency response procedures including evacuation protocols.
Successful candidates uphold confidentiality and represent the organization with integrity while maintaining a discreet, professional presence. The role demands the ability to analyze evolving security conditions and operate effectively under pressure in an arena setting with 24/7 availability requirements.
Requirements
- US Citizen with a social security card
- High School Diploma or GED
- 21 years of age
- Minimum 5 years of executive protection experience in similar scope
- Specialized law enforcement experience such as SWAT, DEA, FBI with resignation in good standing preferred
- Military Special Operations such as Ranger, SEAL, SF with honorable conditions discharge preferred
- Must have LEOSA
- Able to pass a background check and drug screening
Responsibilities
- Provide close protection for designated executives, VIPs, and high-profile personnel assigned to or visiting the arena
- Maintain constant situational awareness and proactively identify potential threats or vulnerabilities
- Conduct secure movements including arrivals, departures, and escorts within and around the area
- Perform advance site assessments identifying access points, emergency exits, and safe zones
- Coordinate secure transportation routes and contingency plans
- Support enforcement of access control measures and verify credentials
- Act as a first responder to security incidents involving protected individuals
- Execute emergency response procedures including evacuation or shelter-in-place protocols
