About this role
Provides strategic leadership and daily management for security operations and industrial security compliance, ensuring protection of facility, personnel, and assets while adhering to NISPOM, SEAD 3, and CV mandates. Acts as definitive KMP and primary liaison to SSC/IPO and DCSA.
Manages the overall industrial security program and compliance with NISPOM and other government obligations for the El Segundo facility. Coordinates self-inspection programs, implements mandatory training, and ensures subcontractor compliance with security requirements. Also reviews corporate policy to implement clear procedures for protecting classified and sensitive information.
Manages personnel responsible for security education, DD254s, and indoctrination for new employees and clearances. Works closely with other FSOs and supports enterprise functions and projects while establishing strong relationships with internal and external customers. Responsible for hiring, supervising, training, and performance management of the security team.

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree.
- 5+ years of security management experience with security best practices, standards, and methodologies.
- Current Top Secret security clearance with ability to obtain and maintain SCI.
- Completion of the Center for Development of Security Excellence (CDSE) FSO Program Management for Possessing Facilities (IS030.CU) curriculum.
- Ability to obtain Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Industrial Security Professional (ISP), or Physical Security certification.
Responsibilities
- Manage the overall industrial security program and compliance with NISPOM (32 CFR Part 117) and other government and contractual obligations for the El Segundo facility.
- Coordinate self-inspection programs, including DCSA required self-inspection, and document findings with corrective actions.
- Review corporate policy to implement clear, consistent, and practical procedures for protecting classified and unclassified sensitive information.
- Ensure subcontractor compliance with security requirements and implement DCSA mandatory training for all personnel.
- Manage contractual lifecycle security requirements from award through closeout.
- Support other corporate security disciplines including incidents, investigations, insider threat, physical security, information assurance, personnel security, and international security.
- Hire, supervise, train, schedule, and manage performance of the security team.
- Establish and maintain strong professional relationships with management, peers, customers, other Aerospace locations, and government counterparts.
