About this role

This contractor role with GardaWorld involves leading security operations in the high-risk environment of Mogadishu, Somalia. As the International Security Manager (ISM), you will oversee the delivery of security services across the Middle East and North Africa region.

Day-to-day responsibilities include managing security teams, implementing close protection principles, and conducting risk assessments in austere and conflict zones. You will operate crisis management procedures and ensure operational effectiveness under pressure.

You will work alongside a dedicated team of security professionals and liaise with client stakeholders to align security strategies with mission objectives. The role requires strong decision-making and problem-solving capabilities in dynamic, high-stakes environments.

This open-ended contract offers the opportunity to apply your expertise in a demanding international setting, with rotation schedules and comprehensive life support provided. You will contribute to the safety of personnel and assets in one of the world's most challenging security landscapes.

Requirements
