About this role

The Regional Security Manager – China/Wider Asia is a senior security leader responsible for implementing and continuously improving Haleon’s regional physical security framework. This role ensures the protection of people, assets, and operations across all sites and throughout the extended supply chain.

Day-to-day, the manager drives regional security risk mitigation while leading a high-performing, regionally dispersed team of contracted security and non-specialist security champions. They collaborate with Supply Chain, Procurement, and Quality teams to assess vulnerabilities and implement proactive controls that protect continuity, integrity, and brand reputation.

The role reports directly to the Head of Security Operations and works closely with senior leaders across the enterprise. It also supports investigations, anti-counterfeit efforts, external partnerships, and third-party contract management, building trusted relationships and providing clear, actionable security risk advice.

This position offers the opportunity to shape Haleon’s Physical Security Policy and standards for the region, driving continuous improvement and compliance. The manager will own the regional physical security budget and manage a portfolio of third-party contracts, including manned guarding and technical services.

Requirements

Proven experience in leading physical security operations across multiple sites in a multinational environment.
Strong understanding of supply chain security risks and mitigation strategies, including transport, warehousing, and third-party logistics.
Experience managing third-party security contracts and vendor relationships, with strong commercial acumen for negotiation and cost optimization.
Ability to build trusted relationships with senior leaders and provide clear, confident, and actionable security risk advice.
Knowledge of regional geopolitical, criminal, and environmental threat landscapes relevant to China and Wider Asia.
Experience in developing and implementing physical security policies, standards, and compliance monitoring mechanisms.
Demonstrated leadership of high-performing, regionally dispersed teams, including contracted security personnel and non-specialist champions.

Responsibilities

Lead the regional 2nd line physical security delivery across Haleon’s manufacturing, R&D, commercial, and corporate environments.
Integrate physical security risk management into end-to-end supply chain operations, including transport, warehousing, third-party logistics, and critical supplier sites.
Collaborate with Supply Chain, Procurement, and Quality teams to assess vulnerabilities and implement proactive controls.
Monitor regional-geopolitical, criminal, and environmental threats that may impact operations or supply resilience and develop mitigation strategies.
Lead the implementation of Haleon’s Physical Security Policy and associated regional standards, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Manage the regional portfolio of third-party security contracts, including manned guarding and technical security services, and maintain senior relationships with account directors.
Own the regional physical security budget, ensuring effective forecasting, spend control, and value delivery.
Support investigations, anti-counterfeit efforts, and external partnerships to protect brand reputation and operational integrity.
