We are looking for an exceptionally motivated individual to join our team as the Vice President of Corporate Security, leading APAC security operations excluding India.

This role manages daily security operations across Asia-Pacific, focusing on Technical Security, Project Management, and Physical Security Operations. You will ensure all APAC sites comply strictly with BlackRock’s global security standards through regular site assessments and collaboration with local stakeholders.

You will develop and maintain comprehensive physical security Site Profiles, coordinate with Site Facilities Managers and Security Reps, and support the development of SOPs for regional security. The role also involves addressing employee emergencies, vendor administration, and maintaining strong ties with local vendors, government, and law enforcement officials.

This position offers the opportunity to lead capital projects, drive technical security programs, and manage embedded Technical and Project Officers. You will collaborate with Global Events Management and the Executive Protection team on event security, while developing regional metrics and dashboards.

Requirements

Proven experience managing physical security operations across multiple APAC sites
Deep knowledge of technical security systems, including design, installation, and integration
Strong project management skills with ability to lead capital projects from concept through deployment
Experience in vendor management and contract oversight, including SLA development and operational delivery
Ability to build and maintain relationships with local government and law enforcement agencies
Crisis management and incident response expertise, including handling employee emergencies and travel safety programs
Proficiency in developing SOPs, site profiles, and security metrics/dashboards

Responsibilities

Manage daily security operations across APAC, excluding India, with focus on Technical Security, Project Management, and Physical Security Operations
Ensure all APAC sites comply strictly with BlackRock's global security standards through regular site assessments and corrective actions
Develop and maintain comprehensive physical security Site Profiles including security build, responsible persons, emergency contacts, and key locations
Coordinate communication with Site Facilities Managers and Security Reps to increase understanding of security policies and initiatives
Address and handle employee and BlackRock emergencies, offering assistance to reduce risks, with availability during evenings and weekends
Lead operational delivery of the APAC Technical Security program as subject-matter expert and primary point of contact
Play an integral role in APAC Capital Projects, supporting security build, installation, programming, and testing coordination
Develop regional/internal metrics, reporting, and dashboards, working closely with all Regional Security Managers
