Securitas

Swindon, GB · Full-time · £30,000 – £32,000

About this role

We are seeking a committed and proactive Security Officer to support the safety, security, and regulatory compliance of a high-risk GMP pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Swindon. This role is essential in maintaining operational integrity, preventing unauthorised access, and ensuring adherence to strict regulatory frameworks including MHRA guidance and Home Office Controlled Drugs Licensing requirements.

Your day-to-day will involve controlling access and egress for all staff, visitors, and contractors, as well as conducting frequent internal and external patrols across a large, high-activity facility. You will monitor fire alarms and emergency communication systems, respond professionally to incidents, and confidently manage emergency information and alarm activations.

You will work a 4-on-4-off shift pattern covering both days and nights (06:00-18:00 and 18:00-06:00), collaborating with colleagues, clients, and partners to uphold professional site standards. The role demands strong organisational skills, the ability to self-manage tasks without direct supervision, and good physical fitness to meet the requirements of regular site patrols.

From day one, you will gain access to outstanding Learning and Development opportunities, Mentorship, and a whole load of benefits from big brand discounts to give back schemes. This is a chance to see a different world, where potential is seen and progress is nurtured.
