As a SORA Licensed Security Guard, you will provide guest-service-oriented protection at premier Atlantic City venues.

Day-to-day, you will patrol assigned sites on foot, checking for unsafe conditions, unlocked doors, and unauthorized persons while controlling access to client facilities. You will also respond to incidents ranging from fire and medical emergencies to bomb threats and hazardous materials situations.

Requirements

Must have a valid SORA license
18 years of age or older
High level of confidentiality and ability to handle sensitive situations
Excellent communication skills
Guest service oriented
Ability to travel to varied work locations (travel reimbursements available)
Frequent sitting, standing, and walking for long periods, including climbing stairs and walking on inclines and uneven terrain
Ability to stand for a minimum of 4 hours and lift up to 100 pounds occasionally

Responsibilities

Observe and report activities and incidents at assigned client sites to ensure security and safety of property and personnel
Enforce regulations and directives pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises
Control access to client sites and facilities
Patrol assigned sites on foot, checking for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, and unauthorized persons
Protect evidence or scene of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations
Respond to incidents of fire, medical emergency, bomb threat, flooding, elevator emergency, hazardous materials, and inclement weather
Prepare logs and reports as required
Perform any and all protection and security services as directed by GMCS and required by the client
