The company seeks a multidisciplinary Industrial Security Officer to serve as a Security Analyst.

This role requires partnering with Mission Management and government representatives to ensure program deliverables are met. The successful candidate will convey security requirements to a diverse group of technical personnel while acting as a self-starter and problem-solver in a high-tempo environment.

Work centers on classified programs that push the boundaries of industry and technology. Daily efforts include compliance activities, personnel clearance management, and coordination of transportation plans for classified materials in accordance with government customer requirements.

SpaceX offers the opportunity to support missions that enable human life on Mars. An active clearance provides the chance to work on sensitive programs with a 10% pay differential once briefed into a classified program.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalency certificate
  • Experience performing responsibilities specifically within an SCI or collateral environment
  • Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
  • Strong knowledge of the NISPOM, DoD SAP Security Manuals, Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs), and related security policies and procedures
  • Familiarity with DISS, NBIS, TALON and/or Scattered Castles
  • Ability to favorably complete a U.S. Government CI scope polygraph

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Mission Management and government representatives to ensure program deliverables are met
  • Partner with Mission Management and engineering teams to ensure understanding of program classification requirements and protections needed
  • Assist with compliance related activities to include self-inspections, audits, and inquiries
  • Participate in aspects of the initiation, management and upkeep of personnel clearances for responsible programs
  • Assist with CONOPS, OPSEC Plans, PPIPs, MFRs, etc. as needed for approval by government customer
  • Coordinate transportation plans and courier documents for any transportation of classified program materials or assets
  • Ensure security SOPs are up to date, approved, and being followed
  • Support all annual refresher, INDOC, and exit briefings as needed in accordance with policy and government customer requirements
