Security Officer - Part-Time

This part-time Security Officer position is responsible for monitoring daily traffic entering and leaving the Tyson Fresh Meats Inc. facility in Logansport. Officers answer phones and communicate with Material Handling on the status of loads, ensuring smooth operations during the overnight shift.

Day-to-day duties include monitoring what is brought into and out of the facility and enforcing Tyson policy when needed. Officers are in constant communication with truck drivers, vendors, customers, and team members, maintaining security and order in a fast-paced industrial environment.

The Security department runs three shifts, and shift assignment is determined upon job offer. This role requires the ability to work in both hot and cold temperatures, as well as the flexibility to work both independently and under supervision.

This position offers the opportunity to develop security skills within a major food production company. Officers may be assigned additional duties by management, providing variety and the chance to grow within the organization.
