In this part-time FIFO role, you will fly in and fly out from Adelaide on a 7 on 7 off or 8 on 6 off roster with meals, accommodation, and transport from Adelaide Airport to site covered.

As a Security Officer, you'll play a key role in maintaining site safety and operational integrity through access control, patrols, emergency response, and team coordination. You'll be the frontline presence ensuring compliance, professionalism, and exceptional service delivery across a variety of responsibilities including vehicle and bag inspections and drug and alcohol testing.

Your day-to-day duties involve managing site access and traffic flow, issuing security passes and keys, monitoring radio communications, responding to incidents, and supporting emergency procedures. You'll also deliver high-level customer service, observe driver behaviours, and maintain accurate electronic logs and reports using intermediate Microsoft Office skills.

Requirements

  • SA Security Licence (sponsorship available for eligible successful applicants)
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
  • SA Driver's Licence with ability to drive manual
  • Willing to complete or already hold HLTPAT005 - Collect Specimens for Drug Testing
  • Availability to work a rotational roster (days, nights, weekends) 7 days on 7 days off
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills for reporting and documentation
  • Willing to undergo a full medical assessment

Responsibilities

  • Manage site access control and traffic flow
  • Conduct mobile and foot patrols, including vehicle and bag inspections
  • Perform drug and alcohol testing in line with site protocols
  • Issue and manage security passes, keys, and building access
  • Monitor radio communications, respond to incidents, and support emergency procedures
  • Deliver high-level customer service and observe driver behaviours
  • Maintain accurate and timely electronic logs and reports
