In this role, you conduct routine checks of various locations during assigned rounds, adjusting schedules for unusual conditions. You perform guard duties including testing, monitoring, and responding to fire alarms and electronic security systems, and you participate in emergency evacuation plans. You promptly notify the Security Operations Center and emergency services when needed.
You assist with traffic operations, rover foot patrols, and visitor center operations. Additionally, you help schedule officers for day-to-day operations and training events, and review incident and daily reports for accuracy and consistency. You conduct hiring of new officers, handle payroll, and create policies to fulfill mission requirements.
This position offers leadership opportunities, including supervising junior officers and contributing to policy development. You participate in quarterly emergency exercises to test responsiveness and refine procedures. Working with an ISO 9001 certified company, you contribute to a high-quality security environment.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum one year of security experience.
- Active ACT 235 Guard Card with Lethal Weapons endorsement.
- Ability to conduct routine patrols and monitor electronic security systems.
- Experience in scheduling and supervising security personnel.
- Physical ability to perform foot patrols and respond to emergencies.
Responsibilities

- Participate in quarterly emergency exercises to test responsiveness and knowledge of emergency procedures.
- Assist with traffic operations and conduct rover foot patrols, responding to alarms and incidents as needed.
- Assist in scheduling officers for day-to-day operations, training events, and extra coverage as needed.
- Review incident and daily reports for accuracy, inconsistencies, and readability.
- Conduct hiring of new officers, payroll, and creating policies to better fulfill the mission and duties required.
