Premier Protective Security (PPS) is seeking an Armed Security Guard to maintain a safe and secure environment at a Loves Travel Stop in Dallas, TX. This role requires a valid Texas Security License and your own personal firearm, such as a 9mm or .45 semi-auto.

Your day-to-day will involve actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations and preserving order while enforcing regulations for personnel, visitors, and the area. You must be able to stand and/or walk for long periods of time during the assigned shifts.

Requirements

Must have a valid Texas Security License in hand to be considered
Must have your own personal firearm (e.g., 9mm, .45 semi-auto)
Must have prior experience as an Armed Security Guard
Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
Must be able to stand and/or walk for long periods of time
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen

Responsibilities

Maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by actively monitoring the premises
Patrol a variety of locations, including the Loves Travel Stop site
Preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for personnel, visitors, and the area
Remain vigilant by seeing, hearing, and evaluating potential risks or incidents
Notice and report improprieties or safety concerns to maintain integrity
Stand and/or walk for long periods of time during assigned shifts
