Join the Seven Feathers family as a Security Officer I, where your passion for safety meets our passion for people. You'll patrol and inspect the premises to protect guests, employees, and the physical and financial assets of the Resort.

Day-to-day duties include patrolling inside and outside to observe and report security concerns such as vandalism, thefts, and disturbances. You'll also verify and escort cash and sensitive items, assist guests with directions and instructions, and support gaming inspectors during destruction of sensitive materials.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED Certificate required.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Must obtain an OLCC permit within the first 90 days of employment.
  • Must be able to obtain a Class III Gaming License.
  • Current and valid Oregon Drivers License with the ability to qualify for the UIDC Drivers Program.
  • 1 year of experience in security or police work preferred.
  • Previous experience in a customer service oriented industry.
  • Must be able to utilize Defensive Tactics as trained.

Responsibilities

  • Patrol the premises, inside and outside, to observe and report security and safety concerns including vandalism, thefts, disturbances, and complaints to the shift supervisor or manager.
  • Verify and escort all cash and sensitive or controlled items within the Resort.
  • Assist guests by answering questions and providing directions and instructions.
  • Assist Gaming Inspectors in the destruction of sensitive materials.
  • Provide constructive input to foster process improvement within the department.
  • Report all observed safety and security issues to management.
