About this role

A Bloomingdale’s Asset Protection Visual Security Officer provides a visible and welcoming presence at the customer entrance. This role helps deter theft while supporting the customer shopping experience. The officer maintains a safe environment for customers and colleagues.

The Visual Security Officer greets and engages customers on the selling floor. They visually monitor customer traffic entering and exiting the store. Suspicious activity is communicated promptly to Asset Protection and Security teams.

Requirements

No Education or Experience Required
Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to communicate and share information with diverse groups of customers and peers
Resourceful and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities
Resourceful self-starter, works well independently as well as part of a team
Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays
