This role provides security and protection for guests, employees, and property at a high-volume dayclub venue. The Security Officer II maintains crowd control, prevents theft, and discourages altercations while delivering superior guest service.

Day-to-day duties involve circulating among guests and employees to preserve order, administering first aid as needed, and answering guest questions about venue facilities. The officer must remain alert for suspicious activity and follow radio communication procedures to coordinate with the team.

The professional standards are high: officers maintain a neat appearance, uphold company dress code, and communicate professionally with all management and staff. The environment is fast-paced and requires reacting calmly in emergency or pressure situations.

Requirements

2 years of Security experience or 3 years of Hospitality experience preferred
21+ years of age
Maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance adhering to Company standards
Possession of or the ability to possess all state required work cards for the position
Must be able to communicate professionally with all management and staff

Responsibilities

Provides security and protection for guests, employees, and company property
Maintains up-to-date knowledge of persons of interest who may be denied entrance and VIP customers
Informs management of any complaints, comments, or incidents
Appears in the dress code for all shifts at scheduled time
Circulates among guests and employees to preserve order and protect property
Administers first aid and assists injured guests or employees
Restrains intoxicated, disorderly, or insubordinate guests and alerts management immediately
Directs emergency vehicles when called upon
