About this role

East Wareham Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC), part of Acadia Healthcare's network, is seeking a part-time Clinic Safety Liaison / Security Guard to support our outpatient opioid treatment program. This role is essential in maintaining a safe and secure environment for patients and staff at our East Wareham, MA location.

Your day-to-day involves monitoring all persons and vehicles entering or leaving the clinic property, including emergency vehicles and personnel. You will patrol the parking area at least twice per hour and the lobby to prevent loitering or misconduct, reporting any concerns to the director immediately.

You will interact professionally with staff and patients, keep accurate notes in clinic systems, and communicate about incoming admissions, visits, and deliveries. Light maintenance duties such as touch-up painting, trash pickup, changing light bulbs, and cleaning spills are also part of the role.

Requirements

  • Ability to monitor and direct persons and vehicles entering and leaving clinic property
  • Professional demeanor when interacting with staff and patients
  • Ability to patrol parking area and lobby regularly to prevent loitering or misconduct
  • Strong attention to detail for accurate note-taking and reporting
  • Ability to communicate effectively regarding admissions, visits, and deliveries
  • Capability to perform light maintenance duties such as painting, trash removal, and bulb replacement
  • Willingness to conduct regular safety inspections of clinic monitoring devices

Responsibilities

  • Monitor all persons and vehicles entering or leaving the clinic property, including emergency vehicles and personnel
  • Interact with staff and patients in a professional manner at all times
  • Monitor parking area at minimum of twice per hour and lobby to ensure no loitering or misconduct takes place
  • Report all concerns to the director immediately
  • Keep accurate notes reporting within various systems as outlined by clinic standards
  • Communicate regarding incoming admissions, visits, and deliveries to appropriate staff
  • Perform light maintenance duties and repairs including touch-up painting, emptying and picking up trash, changing light bulbs, cleaning spills, and various repairs
  • Perform regular safety checks including smoke detectors, locked doors, alarm systems, and other monitoring devices
