GardaWorld is seeking a Casual Security Guard to join our team at the Vale – Long Harbour unionized site. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on adaptability and embraces change from one mission to the next.

Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting vehicle searches, monitoring and controlling site access, and completing detailed and accurate reports. You will stand and patrol for extended periods while remaining flexible for shift coverage as needed.

You will work collaboratively with team members and site personnel in a unionized environment. When required, you will step into a Team Lead role, supervising staff, making decisions, and ensuring site protocols are followed.

Requirements

Valid Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract (must be obtained from Motor Registration)
High School Diploma
Strong communication and report writing skills
Basic computer knowledge
Ability to read and write reports clearly and accurately
Previous security experience preferred
Completion of a recognized security course is an asset
Be authorized to work in Canada
