About this role

Under the direct supervision of the Manager, Security, this position is responsible for the safety and protection of team members, guests, the facility and the company's assets while contributing to a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members.

Key accountabilities include monitoring and documenting violations, unsafe conditions, and suspicious persons or activities. The officer enforces restricted access, escorts cash and cash equivalents, and conducts regular patrols of the facility interior and exterior.

The role involves performing identification checks, crowd control, and referring disputes to the Supervisor, Security. Effective communication with all appropriate operational departments is essential to build strong working relationships with guests and team members.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • Minimum 1 year of work experience
  • Valid Smart Serve Certification
  • Valid Standard First Aid CPR/AED Level C Certification
  • Must be willing to recertify Use of Force Certification
  • Ability to successfully obtain a Gaming License

Responsibilities

  • Monitors, documents and prepares statements and/or reports on violations, unsafe conditions, potential hazards, suspicious persons or activities
  • Enforces restricted access by unauthorized persons
  • Escorts cash/cash equivalents
  • Conducts regular patrols of the facility interior and exterior as directed
