Support the Terminal Security Manager in implementing a robust security risk management program and ensuring compliance with APMM Global Security Framework and ISPS Code. Maintain operational command of the Security Operations Centre during shifts, proactively identifying threats and coordinating responses. Conduct regular checks on equipment and systems to minimize downtime.

Provide technical security supervisory expertise to facilitate business objectives and establish networks for information sharing. Manage schedules of third-party personnel, track attendance, and mentor them for best practices and continuous improvement. Serve as a key contact for security communications.

Report to the Terminal Security Manager with a local scope, upholding transparency and accountability. Proactively improve Security Supervisory competencies and ensure timely incident reporting. Contribute to a safe, secure environment for all stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of APMM Global Security Framework and ISPS Code
  • Experience maintaining security operations centres and control rooms
  • Proficiency in video surveillance, access control systems, and evidence gathering
  • Ability to manage third-party security personnel schedules and performance
  • Familiarity with security threat identification and response coordination
  • Competency in equipment, hardware, software checks, and incident reporting
  • Security supervisory skills for mentoring and continuous improvement
  • Awareness of company security policies and procedures

Responsibilities

  • Support the Terminal Security Manager with implementation of a robust security risk management program
  • Ensure compliance with APMM Global Security Framework, ISPS Code, and local regulatory standards
  • Maintain operational command of the Security Operations Centre during shift duties
  • Pro-actively identify security threats, provide timely reporting, and coordinate response mechanisms
  • Provide evidence gathering using live and recorded video surveillance and access control events
  • Manage schedules of third-party personnel, track attendance, and ensure 24/7 service delivery
  • Conduct performance evaluations and mentor third-party personnel in the Security Operations Centre
  • Oversee training modules and procedures for Security Operations Centre personnel
