About this role

Protects and safeguards all hotel guests and associates, their belongings and all hotel assets. Respond rapidly to requests for emergency and non-emergency assistance in a professional manner. This full-time role requires weekend availability on third shift.

Responsible for the efficient running of the Security department while providing gracious hospitality. Recognize and report safety hazards, handle incidents, and ensure compliance with all hotel and security SOPs and LSOPs.

Conduct daily physical hazard inspections and patrols, oversee key control systems, and observe any security breaches. Maintain positive relationships with associates across departments and create a productive atmosphere throughout the property.

Attend monthly meetings, participate on the Safety Committee, and complete work or special projects as assigned. AHC Hospitality invests in associate growth, viewing individual success as company success across its hotels and restaurants.

Requirements

Have PMS and Saflok skills, Security systems and Fire Systems
Knowledge of Marriott and AHC’s Loss Prevention Standard Operating Procedures
Be familiar with all emergency plans and able to act upon them
Develop thorough knowledge of hotel rooms, amenities, services and frequent guests
Be familiar with cultural differences to meet all customer needs
Report any unusual occurrences immediately to the Asst. Rooms Division Manager
