About this role
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an energetic and enthusiastic customer and safety-focused Campus Support Officer. Reporting to the Security Manager, the role provides for the safety and security of persons, premises and assets while delivering exceptional customer service.
The position is based at a highly regarded university campus in Burwood. Officers work 12-hour shifts on a rotating roster covering days and nights, with full 24/7 availability required.
Daily duties centre on regular foot patrols, unlock and lock-up of access points, operation of fire systems and management of contractors and visitors. Officers also handle incident response, resolution and reporting.

Requirements
- VIC Security Licence (Unarmed Guard, Crowd Control)
- Current First Aid
- Working with children check (employee) or willing to apply for one
- Current knowledge of work health and safety and risk management practices
- Proven experience in emergency response procedures
- Highly developed customer service skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proven ability to understand, interpret and follow policies, procedures and instructions
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to all stakeholders
- Conduct regular foot patrols of the site and its assets
- Perform unlock and lock up of access points within the site
- Operate fire systems
- Carry out incident response, resolution and reporting
- Manage contractors and visitors onsite
