Requirements

  • Proven experience in security management, preferably in hotel or hospitality industry
  • Knowledge of security protocols, emergency response procedures especially in fire safety management, and surveillance systems
  • Good understanding of local laws and regulations related to hotel security
  • Holder of valid Security Personnel Permit
  • Certification in first aid, or relevant security training programs preferred
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Good command of computer skills
  • Good command of Cantonese, English and Mandarin

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Security Manager in fire safety management and occupational safety management, ensuring all safety equipment, facilities and procedures align with local laws
  • Supervise the security team to ensure smooth daily operation
  • Conduct staff trainings related to fire safety, emergency response and occupational safety
  • Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies and any suspicious activities
  • Investigate all incident reports and staff injury reports
  • Ensure surveillance equipment monitors important hotel areas and communication equipment functions properly
  • Maintain liaison with local Government agencies and emergency services as needed
  • Perform any other related duties assigned by Security Manager
