About this role

The Director of Executive Protection supports and executes Brinks’ Executive Protection Program to ensure the safety, security, and well-being of designated executives. This role partners closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams. It delivers discreet, proactive, and highly professional protective services aligned with Brinks’ culture, values, and business priorities.

Conduct comprehensive risk assessments, threat analyses, and advance site surveys for executive travel, events, and daily operations. Develop, implement, and enforce standard operating procedures for executive movement, residential security, transportation, and emergency response. Oversee executive transportation logistics, including route planning, contingency planning, vehicle readiness, and driver training.

Lead, manage, and mentor a team of executive protection specialists, drivers, and security support personnel, promoting high performance and professionalism. Coordinate closely with executive leadership, corporate security, travel, human resources, facilities, and other internal partners. Ensure seamless and effective protective operations across the organization.

Maintain real-time situational awareness of global and regional security developments impacting executives or operations. Provide timely, actionable risk mitigation recommendations. Requirements

  • Extensive experience in executive protection, corporate security, or a related discipline, including leadership responsibility
  • Demonstrated expertise in risk assessment, threat management, and advance planning for executive travel and events
  • Proven ability to lead, develop, and manage high-performing protection teams
  • Strong communication, judgment, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to operate discreetly in high-visibility environments
  • Ability to remain calm and decisive in high-pressure, rapidly evolving situations

  • Oversee executive transportation logistics, including route planning, contingency planning, vehicle readiness, and driver training standards
  • Maintain real-time situational awareness of global and regional security developments and provide timely, actionable risk mitigation recommendations
