About this role
At Vodafone, you will deliver the day-to-day physical security management across assigned locations in London and beyond, ensuring a safe, compliant, and resilient environment. This role coordinates the planning and execution of event security and executive protection to safeguard Vodafone people, leadership, assets, and reputation.
Your day-to-day involves conducting risk assessments, implementing mitigation measures, and overseeing third-party security providers. You will also manage access control rights, lead incident response and investigations, and coordinate with Facilities, Operations, and Events teams to ensure security alignment across all activities.
You will work closely with senior leaders and frontline staff across multiple countries and cultures, driving readiness and vendor performance. The role requires delivering robust protective strategies for corporate events and high-profile engagements, both domestically and internationally, with travel expected around 20% of annual hours.

Requirements
- Significant experience in event security and executive protection within corporate environments.
- SIA Close Protection licence (UK) or equivalent; First Aid at Work / FPOS I.
- Knowledge of applicable standards (ISO 22301, NIS2, etc.).
- Experience working across multiple countries and cultures with diverse stakeholders.
- Proven ability to deliver event security management and executive protection programmes.
- Strong threat assessment, incident management, and debriefing skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with senior leaders and frontline staff.
- Discretion with sensitive information and an analytical mindset.
Responsibilities
- Manage security for corporate events, including threat identification, risk assessments, and implementation of mitigation measures.
- Manage third-party security partners to deliver security objectives against agreed SLAs.
- Manage and execute the executive protection programme for senior leaders, including protective intelligence, advance site surveys, route and venue security, and secure transport.
- Oversee physical security operations across assigned locations, including access control rights management.
- Conduct site risk assessments and design mitigation measures to ensure a safe, compliant environment.
- Coordinate with Facilities, Operations, and Events teams to ensure security alignment across the business.
- Lead incident response and investigations into threats or breaches, ensuring compliance with Vodafone policies and regulations.
- Monitor security trends and emerging threats, providing regular reporting and insights to senior management.
