This multi-faceted position oversees day-to-day security compliance for special program portfolios and provides intermittent support for collateral programs. The incumbent adheres to the National Industrial Security Program, 32 CFR Part 117, DoDM 5205.07, and ICDs. They operate within a team managing classified environments.

Daily operations include executing security tasks, implementing education and training on facility security, classification management, and reporting. Responsibilities cover self-inspections, document control, alarm response, and personnel/physical security. Maintenance of DD-254s, accreditation letters, and access lists ensures ongoing compliance.

A seasoned security professional is needed with deep expertise across security disciplines. They must exercise independent judgment to manage risks, deliver training, and align solutions with business needs. Collaboration with customers, employees, and sponsors maintains DCSA and government standards.

Requirements

  • Deep expertise across all facets of security disciplines
  • Knowledge of National Industrial Security Program, 32 CFR Part 117, DoDM 5205.07, and ICDs

Responsibilities

  • Assist the CSSO in all aspects of assigned duties and act on behalf of the CSSO in their absence
  • Execute daily security operations and ensure government compliance
  • Implement security education, training, and awareness for staff in secure spaces, including facility security, classification management, reporting requirements, and daily practices
  • Conduct self-inspections, document control, security alarm response, and personnel/physical security
  • Maintain DD-254s, accreditation letters, 701/702s, and update DD147s and access lists
