Bank of America is seeking an Executive Protection Specialist to ensure a secure environment for senior management, support staff, and client-related events in New York City. This role is responsible for analyzing situations on the ground and developing security action plans to mitigate potential threats.

Day-to-day responsibilities include managing access control to executive spaces, conducting comprehensive screening of all incoming mail and parcels, and providing safe and efficient transportation for senior leaders. The specialist will monitor traffic patterns, potential risks, and alternative routes to minimize delays and reduce exposure to security threats.

This position works across functional teams to maintain a secure environment, establishing relationships with senior management and key stakeholders. The role also coordinates closely with local law enforcement and other security agencies to support ongoing protective operations.

Candidates must complete 2–3 days of Protective/Evasive Driving Training, basic first aid, and AED medical training. Occasional travel may be required to support events involving the Management Team, offering opportunities to grow within a global financial institution committed to an inclusive workplace.

Requirements

  • Ability to complete 2–3 days of Protective/Evasive Driving Training
  • Ability to complete basic first aid and AED medical training
  • Strong situational awareness and ability to implement proactive security measures
  • Experience in executive protection or security operations
  • Ability to establish and maintain relationships with senior management and key stakeholders
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Ability to travel occasionally to support events involving the Management Team

Responsibilities

  • Work across functional teams to ensure the safety and security of the senior management team, key stakeholders, and external business clientele
  • Provide safe and efficient transportation for senior leaders, maintaining a smooth, secure, and discreet travel experience
  • Monitor traffic patterns, potential risks, and alternative routes to minimize delays and reduce exposure to security threats
  • Ensure all vehicle movements prioritize safety, discretion, and a low profile
  • Regularly inspect assigned vehicles to ensure cleanliness, functionality, and operational readiness
  • Control access to Executive Floors according to established protocols, ensuring secure handling and distribution of all incoming mail, packages, and business-related items
  • Maintain continuous situational awareness and implement proactive security measures as needed
  • Develop action plans for transportation services and coordinate with local law enforcement and security agencies
